In the Czech Republic, projects to purify biogas into biomethane are starting to emerge
While in the Czech Republic biogas is used in most cases for the production of electricity and heat, many Western European countries purify it in large quantities to the quality of natural gas, so-called biomethane. The first projects of this type are also appearing in the Czech Republic, allowing biomethane to be pumped into the gas system or used in another way, for example as fuel for transport.
