Aggregate from the Omice quarry is being supplied for the construction of the Brno–Bystrc tram line
Aggregate from our quarry in Omice is being used in the construction of a new tram line in the Brno district of Bystrc – Kamechy. Deliveries have been underway since October 2025 and are expected to continue until 2027.
In total, we anticipate supplying more than 20,000 tonnes of aggregate for this project.
Our aggregate is primarily used for ground stabilisation and terrain works on the construction site and in its surroundings. Although material from the Omice quarry is not being used for the tram track structure itself at this stage, the quarry remains one of the key suppliers and is thus contributing to the development of infrastructure in the region.
