The chromatograph has traveled thousands of kilometers – it is now in use in Nigeria

In the second half of 2025, we completed an order that was quite different from our usual projects – we shipped an Emerson Rosemount™ 370XA gas chromatograph all the way to West Africa. A customer from Nigeria needed a reliable solution for gas analysis, and because we had these chromatographs in stock, we were able to respond immediately. It was precisely this speed and flexibility that made the difference.

In early October, the customer came in person to Popůvky near Brno to inspect the equipment. After the inspection, we signed the order and arranged everything necessary – transportation, insurance, and customs procedures. In December, the chromatograph arrived in Lagos, where it was successfully commissioned. The customer sent us a thank you note: “The equipment is working perfectly.”

We routinely use Emerson 370XA chromatographs in our injection units for biomethane production. They ensure precise analysis of gas composition (CH₄, CO₂, N₂, H₂S) and quality control for supplies to the distribution network. Because we keep them in stock, we can respond quickly not only to our own projects but also to special requests – as in this case, where one of our instruments was shipped all the way to Nigeria. This chromatograph is part of projects in Litomyšl, Rakvice, Krákořice, and others.
